J. Crew Factory Holiday Gift Guide
  His: Sweater | Hat | Flask | Vest | Bag | Slippers | Wallet

I love J. Crew but I have to admit I am not always in love with their prices, thankfully J. Crew Factory takes care of that! The Factory’s his and her gift guides are full of some really great gift ideas. These are a few of my favorites that won’t have you spending more than your holiday budget!

I am finally in sunny Florida! We got in late last night and today we’re spending the day exploring University of Florida’s campus while we wait for my sister to finish up classes. Tomorrow’s game day and I couldn’t be more excited for my first college football game in the Swamp!

Have a great weekend!

Morning Coffee

Starbucks Coffee

I hope everyone’s week is going well…I was struggle at the beginning of the week with the clock change and all but I’m good now, back on track and ready to be super productive {or so I hope!}. I’m sitting having my morning cup no pot of coffee {i have a problem} and thought I would just catch you all up on what I’ve been up…

I feel like I blinked Saturday night at the clocks changed and so did every retail store in prep for the holiday season. Don’t get me wrong I LOVE Christmas…I really do…I just also really enjoy Thanksgiving and I feel like every year everyone try to just glance over it. I love to cook and bake so it’s my time to share those passions with my family and friends. So as much as I am trying to stay away from Red Cups and Christmas music a few more week’s I can’t seem to avoid the gift guides. I’ll be starting a mini series of my favorite picks from my go to stores guides this week!

So some updates on my life…

I’m still looking to find the next step in my career path but I am really taking this time to soul search, find the things I love to do everyday and make a decision based on that {its a lot harder than it sounds but enjoyable}. This is giving me time to travel which is much-needed.

I’ll be heading south in a few weeks to visit my sister in Gainesville for some Gator football and then some family time in Disney before the holidays. This will be my first time in Disney for “Christmas” {it stated there this week} and I cannot wait! The past couple of year’s I’ve been down for the Food &Wine Festival and for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween but I haven’t been with my family so I’m excited to be in the parks with them. I’m also hoping to make a trip to one of my favorite towns in Florida…Winter Park…sorry not sorry I’m obsessed with Park Avenue. It is the most adorable tree-lined street and if I move that’s we’re I want to end up!

It’s going to be getting pretty cold here on the island this weekend so I’m spending the rest of the day finally changing over my closets to full winter wardrobe {told you I’m finally ready to be productive}!

This weekend I decided to take a last minute spontaneous trip into the City with my mom {a little girls days}…I really do not get there as much as I should. We decided to hit some of the flea markets to see what type of treasures we could find but other than that didn’t really have a set plan. Though we didn’t come home with any flea market finds it was so much fun just walking thru, the amount of vintage jewelry and silver flatwear was amazing! We grabbed some coffee after the first market {Hell’s Kitchen Flea Market} and headed towards one in Chelsea.

On our way to Chelsea we weren’t really paying attention and just happened to stumble upon Eataly which gave us the plan for the rest of our day! Since it was a Saturday it was packed but they had a ton of local farmers and other food companies that were giving out samples. Even though we ate our way thru the samples we decided to stay for lunch in the Pizza and Pasta part of the market…the food was amazing {so amazing I had to take a picture obvi}. Our waiter was a gem and gave me a glass of wine on the house to walk around the market with after our lunch. We picked up some fresh pasta and locally made cheese to bring home {so excited to make it tonight}. If you haven’t yet been next time you are in the city make sure you add this to your list!

We finished the day walking up Fifth Ave and doing some shopping! It was a great day to just explore and spend some time with my mom before the craziness of the holiday season in Manhattan sets in.

Hope your coffee is strong and your Monday is easy!

My hair is something I have struggled with my whole life it just never seems to want to cooperate. It’s kinda curly and kinda frizzy depending on how it feels so my usual solution for school and work was to just to straighten it to make it more manageable. As you could image doing that every day fried my hair! I’ve been determined to have heathier hair habits so I have ditched the heat and switch to products with less chemicals.

 So when I heard about HASK Argan Oil Repairing Collection which is free of sulfates, paragons, phthalates, artificial colors, drying alcohol, and gluten, I was super excited to try it! I have been using it for about a week now and guys I am seriously obsessed! I have noticed that my hair is stronger and is no longer looking super dry and damaged…the added plus is it smells amazing  and idk about you but this is pretty important to me when it comes to hair products! My hair has felt so much healthier in the short time I’ve been using the products I’ve gone a la natural almost every day! {which is big for me}

I’ll be styling my hair naturally in my upcoming post so be on the look out!

Thank you HASK Beauty for sponsoring this post and BrandBacker for making this possible!
