Holiday Bucket List

holiday bucket list

I cannot believe it is December all ready! I know a lot of people like to get their decorations up right after Thanksgiving but my family likes to wait a week or two so we spent the weekend getting the house holiday ready. I love getting to decorate for the holidays even if it hasn’t been feeling much like December around here, I’m talking 50 degrees on Long Island its been amazing!

Anyway, I feel like every year I make a mental list of Holiday things I want to do but I end up forgetting half of them and putting the other half off because I get too busy…well not this year! I’m sharing my bucket list with you all for two reasons…one to hold myself accountable so I’ll actually remember to do them and two to give you some ideas of things to do with family and friends!

I would love to hear what’s on your holiday bucket list and if you have any suggestions on things I should keep in mind for next years list! I know it’s Monday Friends but its also only 18 more days until Christmas…just remember ” the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear!”

I feel like I am finally getting settled in at home after my trip to Florida and the holiday. We flew home Thanksgiving morning and got right to cooking…it was a bit crazy to say the least. Coming off the trip I though I would put together somethings that are a must I think for any girl on the go and a few things I wish I had had for my trip!

Does anyone else feel like the black friday and cyber monday deals weren’t as good as previous year? I ventured out to the stores last year but I decided this year that my bed was going to be the best place to shop from. With the overwhelming amount of sale round ups that were out I was able to have a pretty good plan in place and was able to score some great pieces and gifts. Now to just wait for the mail man to deliver all the goodies! {Am I the only one who hates this part of online shopping?}

I love J. Crew but I have to admit I am not always in love with their prices, thankfully J. Crew Factory takes care of that! The Factory’s his and her gift guides are full of some really great gift ideas. These are a few of my favorites that won’t have you spending more than your holiday budget!

I am finally in sunny Florida! We got in late last night and today we’re spending the day exploring University of Florida’s campus while we wait for my sister to finish up classes. Tomorrow’s game day and I couldn’t be more excited for my first college football game in the Swamp!

Have a great weekend!

East End Adventures

Flannel | Jeans | Booties (similar)| Hat (similar) | Bag | Sunnies (similar)

I have always been a lover of hats…usually baseball hats when I was running late to class or too lazy to do my hair but I am totally loving wool hats this season! We ventured out to the East End of Long Island on Saturday to stop by our favorite farm stand, shop and go wine tasting. I guess you could say I embraced the “country” feel of the East End with my flannel {which just happened to be Gator colors…I planned that!} hat and booties! It was extremely windy so my hat kept my hair some what controlled during the trip. It was so beautiful and truly a perfect fall weekend!
